Pregnancy: Burping your baby
Burping is very importance to prevent baby from get colic. Colic happens when there is air in the baby stomach. Air can come inside during the feeding process. The air will cause uncomfortable feeling to baby and some of the baby will stop drink even though they are not full enough. Besides, if we not burp our baby after the feeds, and straight away lay down the baby, baby will throughout some of the milk. There are some steps to burp the baby:

Massage are very important to help your baby feel comfortable. You can massage your baby before, during or after the bath.
There are 6 areas need your attention while massaging your baby.

- Chest
- Arms and hands
- Tummy
- Back and neck
- Leg and feet

Pregnancy: How to bath the baby?
There are many ways to bath the newborn. Here are the basic outline:
2. Test the temperature (36-38°C)
3. Undress your baby
4. Gently clean your newborn’s eyelids, wiping from inner eye to outer eye, ear, mouth using the moisten warm cotton wool ball.
5. Use different piece of cotton wool ball for each eye.
6. Clean the baby hair by gently splash some water once or twice a week.
*Before take out the baby from the bath tub, clean the baby with clean water.
Pregnancy: Why baby cry?
Lactose is a substances that can be found in cow's milk.
Allergy to lactose can occur because of premature intestine in babies. Premature
Intestinal condition causing incomplete digestion
of carbohydrates. This causes abdominal bloating with excessive wind. Babies
who are not properly burping after feeding or infant exposed to maternal cigarette
smoke or exposure to cigarette smoke during pregnancy can cause babies at high
risk of bloating.
In addition, depressed mothers may affect the method of
infant feeding and care of babies and immaturity nerve causing it to be more
sensitive to environmental factors and lead to infant colic.
